A number of my teachers have been handicapped lately.Either blind or deaf. And i like it that way.Great!.Actually they do so to get a win win situation. They allow chess, card games, not because they are kind. They want to finish marking the testpapers.Mark my words,I doubt that they would allow it after they have finished their work.Possibly they might even carry out a spot check after they clear off their workload and say,"Gotcha".

A sample situation

What are all these cards doing here?
They are for practising magic.

"You're right.I know you can't do magic"
"Yes I can!Just turn a round and let me get into my car and you will never see it again.",replied some genius.

Of course, the teacher fell for it.Surprised eh.You might think that this teacher would then not qualify as a teacher.Well,he is!because not everyone can take the pressure of 30 students threatening to smash his new car.

Besides cards, other discoveries would be,vcd's ,dvd's,even handphone!.Rich people .If confiscated, their motto='Good,I can get a new one!'Vcd's are cheap,so most people wouldn't claim it after it is confiscated. But those who bring 'unwanted vcd's' with obscene actions will then have to bear the responsibility of getting humiliated as news would spread not only within the class but to the entire school population.

If the person wants to safe his 'face',he would say,"that was my plan. Now i'm famous"

I went to my grandma's house at 12 today. So early!.When I arrived, the gate was locked. And because that wasn't my house ,I don't have the key.Since I was carrying a small bag,I just threw it over the gate and climbed through.Hope it didn't attract too much attention since my grandma's house is just opposite the shops. After i got in the compound ,I have yet to realise another obstacle. The doors were locked.Suddenly I felt lost.I was home, yet I couldn't access all the necessities. And at that time the most important of all was food.It was lunch !Then I had no choice....,but to take out my handphone and call the house hoping that they were all asleep , not out.Luckily there was an answer. But that answer scared me.It goes like this.I said open the door. And the reply I got was,'wait a while...'.I waited and waited and the door never opened.

Then I decided to get out of my dream and face reality.I was already on the bed.Already taken a nap.

Today is Monday.Tomorow is Monday...and the list goes on.It sounds awfully long doesn't it.But once you work your brain,it doesn't seem so.All that is left is a tiny fraction of a whole year.We used to say ,there is a lot of time.Yup,we had,now it is gone.

Tomorow ,I will be forced to attend assembly with all the other students in f5 as our attendence would be taken.I'm not sure about that but that is what our teacher told us.I am not sure whether that was a bid to keep us in school for the assembly after our o lvl paper. But if it is, it is very successful because I believe we are 'obedient' people.

I hope the assembly would be short. So that I could go home early. If I was not going home right after assembly,I would prefer a long one.The reason,if it is a short one, then I can predict the headmaster's speech. It is always the same substance. If it is longer,I can skip boring classes.*note,I didn't say boring subjects*Preferably fiziks.

Weird thing.I'm not writing about today.I'm writing about tomorow.Anyone hope to get tomorow's news today?haha.I write that.I predict things.I'm getting out of my mind.Maybe that is how I am able to visualise future. I have a mental problem.:D

Firstly there's nothing interesting today. It is just a blank day just like some sort of space,a time to rest. But that is not the case,or at least not so.I went to tuition this morning.Hoping to learn something useful for tomorows O lvl.How unfortunate was I ,that my teacher failed to arrive.
So I spent my morning at the tuition centre.Instead of learning add math,I got to see a few chinese characters. Not that I remembered them, because I don't even have a clue of what the aunty was writing.Anyway,I made do by trying to enjoy the freezing cold air conditioning as well as jokes made by other students.
I spent my afternoon watching tv and trying to study biology(not at the same time). So boring. Some people would say,no life. But wait,we are not suppose to until after exams.Ugh.I think I am a living Zombie right now.Since I'm 'dead'.So,I just ate durian. My father just brought it back when he returned from his fishing trip.Feel so full!Stomach ...feel like vomiting.I shouldn't be too greedy.
Is there any side effects of eating durian.I think there is.Usually I can't get to sleep well at night.I also wake up super thirsty.Well........but anyway it was yummy.

Funny

I went to school today. To attend a chemistry class. It didn't take me that long to realise that it was a bad idea.I arrived at two.It was suppose to start at two.Yup thats right. So a few minutes later , only a few people arrived. So we looked at each other. There is not enough people for a class. Not even 10 person. So we decided to leave.Only two person went for class, while the others went off a friends house.Have anyone ever heard of a class with two students and a teacher for a school level? It is very fortunate to have friends that can drive, fortunate because we will then be more flexible in the sense that we won't be stuck in school once our parents drop us there for a session and wait till they come at the end of the session. While we were making our get away,we ran into a friend who came for the chem class. But since he saw us running , he followed us.We told him of the case and he followed.Very funny really.Imagine ,U just came down from a car , walk a distance to school and then you see your friends running.Just like a scene in a movie.Oh well we ended up surfing the net, listening to music, and watch tv at my friend's house.

Triassic Period

When was that?Triassic period.I don't know this word.Well it is just a name of a certain time frame. This time frame stretches all the way back to 230 million years ago.Why do I say this?
Obviously I have a reason. The remains of a 230 million year old marine reptile with fangs and a long neck have been found in China.A special feature of this creature is,it's specialized neck ribs. Those neck ribs is possibly flared outward before an attack allowing it to swallow the pressure of waves created in shallow sea water of its habitat.Isn't that just remarkable? Not only taste of the prehistoric times, also a way nature design its creatures.

Moral is very 'interesting'

As we all expected, the day after mock is always Very relaxing with nothing new.Except expecting a return of 'pieces of paper'.But I suppose most of us had forgotten about the moral briefing. It started at 10.30 to 12.30 then continue from 1 to 1.30.How great. The briefing was given by Puan Josephine from St Jo.Of course, our school had to welcome the guest and that was done by our headmaster.SO in order to make us listen,he came up with stuffs like the teacher briefing us is a guru cemerlang. He even made her one of the best teachers in Malaysia. After that he walked out of the lecture theatre, probably hoping to get us to pay attention to the teacher. So the teacher started clearing our doubts. She was honest. She said she wasn't a guru cemerlang. There's only 3 or 4 in Sarawak. But I didn't blame our headmaster, since he is the 'best' headmaster,he might think he deserves only the best teachers.
And so we went into the topics.... which is,

"What is the most dangerous city?"Graham asked.
So she guessed,'is it bombay?'
Of course it wasn't so easy. The answer is electricity

next

She then asked us,"which animal can do business best?"
We gave all sorts of answers. We actually guessed the animals.
In the end we got it.The answer is a duck! The reason, the duck always ask people to buy kueh everytime it open its mouth. kuek kuek kueh?! (lame)not like the others weren't.oh well.

next

"What is the 'kedekut' animal?"Graham asked.
(all the guessing) then the answer, horse, because of the sound it makes when it gallops.

Then the teacher told us about her friends that came from Singapore. She said they had a great time at bako. Then she told us something I didn't know. She said Singapore had jungles too.-Concrete jungles.!!

Then Eko(this is a name of a person not my spelling mistake)asked,"So is the tarzan in Singapore spiderman?"

Woah this was the greatest moral lesson I have attended.Although I felt so sleepy. Can't blame me..it was so so long.If I was in a government school,it will be like spending a whole day in school listening to moral.

Scorpian Queen

Nur Malena Hassan is nicknamed the scorpian queen. She stayed with 6000 scorpians for as long as 32 days.Isn't that very exciting.I bet the rock or anyone else acting as the scorpian king can't do that.Actors will be actors forever. They can't do the real thing. And 1 thing about this queen. She is from Malaysia. So is this the spirit 'Malaysia Boleh'?Even though she has set a new record, she still wants to stay in the box.So as to say it would be harder to break her record the next time. She also celebrated her birthday in a box.Is that something new?

Why hate history?

Tell me a way to illuminate history,
Everytime I look back,
I never fail to shed a tear,
I really wish ...

That I can forget the thing that made me regret forever.

This is only the case when the past is terrible. Now we refer the past to ww2.That was a thing all of mankind should regret.Well now we learn history. We should be able to avoid all tragedies in the future right, you ask a history teacher. You might get an answer like ,'People are still people ,they make mistakes. When the time come things will happen.'So..... what is the point of learning about the past.Humans never learn. They will still do it even if they know that it is wrong. For example the smokers. You ask them,"Do you know the disadvantages of smoking?".I am sure they know. But why are they not trying to stop? You might say because it is addictive.ok that is right but...they could reduce and eventually stop.Problem is I suppose most smokers don't bother reducing. They know that it is bad but they still take it.Why ?Because humans are like that.Since history is a subject to make people realise something,I believe it is quite pointless to learn it.

What is history to most people?Just an additional burden to the brain.Just a subject .No not just a subject.A compulsary subject in Malaysia. What's worse is it is not world history.Rather it is ,Islamic and Malaysian history.

Lazy eyes,a gift!?

Having less-than-perfect vision may be the secret of being a great artist, scientists have revealed. Art teachers often instruct students to close one eye in order to flatten what they see. Therefore, stereoblindness might not be a handicap -and might even be an asset - for some artists. They say having a lazy eye, also known as extropia, can be a benefit to an artist. Perfect alignment of eyes allows people to see in three dimensions. Is this good?Well, a study suggest that this might be a hindrance to an artist trying to depict a 3d scene on a flat canvas. So what can I say.If you have a lazy eye are you considered lucky? If you have perfect alignment of eyes are you considered lucky?Anyway this proves that.. every cloud has a silver lining.I knew there is always something good in laziness.hahaha.Oh and by the way, the guy up there is called Rembrandt.Too bad it is the old type of picture. So dull.

Feeling like a toy...dragged around.

Frustrated.!I thought I would go home right after my add math tuition today but it didn't appear that way.Without me knowing,my parents brought me to attend a wedding at St peter's church.Got really angry. They did not even tell me in the morning or the day before...as if I have all the time in the world.Plus today was real hot.Not like I really know the bride. She is my sister's tuition teacher which is my cousin, a cousin that I have never seen before and way older than me.hmf nothing to do with me and I have to wait there til the end of the whole thing. If it is someone I really know ,probably I wouldn't care.If they had told me ,probably I would not care. The problem is they didn't.They took me for granted.

I have always pursued my intentions,
Most of the time supported by you.

Now that I have grown,
Order of things should change,
To tell you I'm not a toy.

And now I should be respected.

Today til the end of time,
Only one thing shall remain,
Your love towards me.

Mystery

When talking about mysteries,I don't know whether I should include myself.I have always been in Lodge since I started schooling. So basically, most people should know me well.U think so?I don't..because I understand myself.I'm quite sure that there is only a handful of people that know me well. The others, although in the same class for so long can only find a word or a phrase to describe me.Either quiet or tHe Silent one.And this description was used in the school magazine for a few years.I believe most of my classmates know my name, know I play chess.. and what more?Speech?I don't really talk to them a lot.and to some people, maybe for a whole year they only get gestures like..'can I borrow your stapler'.yea so limited... I believe that this condition has improved a whole lot from previous years.Imagine how I was like before.I was a real mystery.

Exam Blues

There is nothing more annoying than being interupted during an exam.Lose attention!.Anyway I think I heard about something to do about vitagen in school. And it got into my ears.I do not know what it is all about but most probably it is some kind of promotion. The type of event where innocent kids get to say 'I love Vitagen'.During the exam I was picturing a maskot.Trying to get attention from the children.Hahah how funny.A big contrast to the real world.I was doing an exam! and I found out that I have limited time left. However happy that it's over.Tomorow is maths.Hope I don't forget to bring my mathematical set.

What a day...

Budaya ala samseng kian menular di kalangan pelajar sekolah disebabkan oleh pengaruh adegan ganas dan seks yang sering dipaparkan dalam media elektronik.Huraikan.....

Well this is what I chose for my exam. And that is question 2.All the other choices were .....all factual except one a story type. The topic I chose is the topic I know best since I presented it for aural before.However... I don't know what the question wants.Kesan,langkah,punca???.Even after noticing that I don't know how to answer it,I just wrote on.I wrote an essay which was very mixed. At first I supported the topic. Then afterwards I said that that is not the only factor that keeps the samseng culture going. And then at the end I said all the other factors can be cause by the media. As you can see,I was very undecided... Now I'm worried about whether I answered the question.

If my paper is returned and I got a high mark,I would say damn I hope this was SPM.
If my paper is returned and I got a low mark,I would say Lucky this is just a mock.Although it is still very important.

Anyway, the sejarah paper after that was ok.Even had time to sleep.Um this is just paper 1.All objective.I think it was ok ..except for some questions that I had never seen.Tomorow is the tough part.Sejarah essay.....and structure.

Value of time. How do you measure?

So... when I'm using my precious time typing this, many people would be staring at their books.I have to do so too.But later.Anyway I took the law test today.I know some people would think I'm out of my mind.I don't think so.The reason is it only takes 18 minutes and I passed.Since the time provided was 1 hour or so,I felt quite comfortable. Also a bit afraid afraid I miss out on some things.A day before mock exam...n i'm taking an additional. So I can say that from today onwards, I will have exams till next Wednesday.Excluding the weekends in between of course. Why is it raining everyday? The answer is,there's this cloud seeding operation carried out the past few days.Damn made me miss softball/baseball last friday.

Anyone...anyone...please manipulate time.

I really hope the clock stops.Either that or fast forward it til after SPM.If time stops,I would like to be able to move on.Meaning that i will still have the capability to move and do many many more things in a split second because time is stopped. That of course would not happen.Everyone knows time would stop for no one.Not even for ~me~.When the great mammoth was found, solid food stuff was found in the mammoth.Frozen.This means that the change in temperature was so sudden and huge that it did not even allow food to digest.Scary.I'm quite sure that that mammoth never even know that thats the end of it's time.Frozen and gone.Time out.

I've lost contact with a number of people this few days.My internet connection is spoilt.Suddenly i feel so dependent ...i need my com.Yesterday i played captain's ball.It is a game.Quite fun actually.I like to intercept people and snatch the ball but i dislike it when no 1 notice when im open. The game after a while becomes quite predictable as people already know where the ball would go.After playing, I had a whole period of moral which is also the last lesson of the day.Felt so restless. After that i went to the Perth edu fare.N there i saw Brandon,Joanne,See mee and some other Lodgians.'Such a small world'haha.

Review of a tragedy

If you ask me to describe the world today I would reply you with a word.'SHIT'.As an independant observer ,I don't always support major powers in their views. That is because sometimes those opposing the major powers are 'freedom fighters'.But now ,the world today is no more guided by moral teachings and heart. They are obsessed with power and cruelty. To those that are responsible for the hostage crisis in Russia, they are as bad as irresponsible mothers that resorts to abortion to avoid humiliation in the society. Both are acts of murder on innocent people. In Russia,Beslan, the students were celebrating their first day of school with their parents. With about 1000+ people in the school during the time of the siege, the government knew this is a major crisis.1000+ people = mixed feelings. And a single person that acts rashly can cause a tragedy. It is also said that weapons were already moved into the school before the attack. How did that happen? This raises the question on corruption in Russia.Maybe some cash to move in some explosives?.Since Beslan is bordering the troubled Chechnya republic security should always be emphasised. So how did the weapons get around. All these smart people, all these powerful weapons wreck havoc and claim the life of some that might have just started to learn to understand the meaning of life.

Feelings after breakup

Crawling out of depression,
Revealing grief and sorrow,
Only to gain,
Sympathy from you,
Sympathy that heals my heart.

Melting steel in the fire,
Yearning to shield my heart.

Hearing me out,
Even when I feel down,
Always I will remember,
Remember the moment,
That triggers the love in me.

If anyone could associate this poem with their own life, well you have had a sad experience.

Dragon boat festival

The Dragon Boat Festival is sometimes referred to as the "Double Fifth Festival" because it occurs on the fifth day of the fifth month in the Chinese lunar calendar -- around mid-summer. On this day the sun shines directly overhead at noon; one may stand on one's own shadow. Like the other festivals, there is a legend associated with its origin and a special dumpling and other foods are eaten.
The story tells of Qu Yuan, a famous Chinese scholar-statesman who served the King of Chu during the Warring States period. A patriotic poet, he threw himself into the Miluo River when he saw his state annexed by the Qin State.
When the people learned about this, they jumped into their boats and rushed out to search for his body. When they couldn't find his body, they made many zongzi (a kind of dumpling) and threw them into the river so that the creatures in the river would not touch him. This became a traditional food for this day to remember the poet. Since then, people started to commemorate Qu Yuan through dragon boat races, eating zongzi and other activities, on the anniversary of his death, the fifth of the fifth month.
The way of celebrating can be very different from region to region. In Northeast China, rural people hang artemisia along the eaves of their houses and boil and eat a lot of eggs, while in Southern China where there are rivers and lakes, dragon boat races are held and zongzi is eaten. Teams of dragon boats, similar to long canoes, train for weeks for the contests that mark this festival, in countries with large Chinese populations.

Mooncake festival

THERE are several stories about the origins of mooncakes and the myths and legends behind the Mooncake Festival. One of the more romantic myths is that Chang-O, the most beautiful woman of Chinese mythology stole the elixir of life that her husband had obtained with great difficulty from the Royal Mother. The story goes like this: Long ago, the earth was in a state of havoc because there were 10 suns in the sky, and these were the sons of the Jade Emperor. Rivers dried up, the land became barren, and many people died. Seeing the death and destruction caused by his sons, the Jade Emperor took this matter to the god Hou Yi. The Emperor asked Hou Yi to persuade his sons to rise up away from the earth to end the catastrophe.

When Hou Yi asked the suns to leave the sky, they refused. Made angry by their defiance, Hou Yi, a great archer, launched arrows at the suns, shooting them down one by one until his wife Chang-O pleaded with him to save one sun to keep the earth warm and bright. Knowing that the Jade Emperor was furious at the slaying of his sons, Hou Yi and Chang-O were forced to stay on earth. Chang-O was unhappy, so her husband tried to win back her favour by gathering herbs that would give them once again the power to ascend to heaven. Chang-O remained angry, however, and ate all the herbs herself. She flew up to the moon, where she remains alone, living in the Moon Palace.

THE candle casts deep shadows on the screen,
The Milky Way dims and morning stars fade.
Chang-O must regret stealing the elixir,
As she broods in loneliness night after night.

The Tang poet, Li Shang-yin wrote the above verse on Chang O's sad story three thousand years later, and the story of Chang-O's flight to the moon has persisted since among the people of the world. There are several versions of this story, but this is the more popular version. On the 15th of the 8th lunar month every year , when the moon is at its brightest and loveliest, Chinese people around the world look at the moon and remember Chang-O and her legend. The occasions is celebrated as the Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival.

Tourism as I see it.

Our country boasts about our natural paradise as well as modern cities in which, huge shopping malls are situated.Well to me, boasting itself isn't enough.Steps have to be taken to promote this growing industry. For example, details of tourist destinations should be provided accurately.

There is a weakness in our government services. The government is a 'scary cat'.They give information that is censored.Well Malaysia is a nice place .That's true. But this year I haven't seen any comments from the government about the haze as they did in previous years. Why?Obviously they are afraid of the consequences. So with this as an example how far do you think the government can go in promoting tourism? To me.. not that far.

From my point of view, tourism is only a source of revenue for the country. Why I say so?Well hiding the truth from the international community about issues like haze would affect tourists confidence after visiting the country.There.. that is an example.Either that or the government is short sighted. They want a nice slice of the pie chart that shows countries whether they have been a considerable tourist destination. To me,they are just aiming to get visitors that visits us once.Their moves certainly are not encouraging visitors to come.If i told you that Borneo is a natural paradise, and you came to see it.What can you see when theres haze? There goes tourist's confidence.

Tourism should be what it is supposed to be.Attracting people all over the world to experience life here at the best times. They should get the credit for what they paid for not less.
We have much to offer. We have a multi racial community. Therefore we have varieties.Food and culture alike theres much to learn from our country.Tourism can increase revenue, but that should not be the main purpose. We should let tourism show the others the real image of our country as the main purpose not $,although money counts as well.

I SEE

There is a brilliant things that happened.. and that is what made our class alive.oh yea..for some people who doesnt know this fact, our class have free sitting most of the time.Except for add math and boring fiziks. So most of the day most of the class would be on the left hand side. The people on the right hand side would either stay at their rightful places, move to join the group or just stay isolated. In the class , we sleep,we eat,we play football, baseball, archery and listen to music.Sounds more like home and fun rather than school. All those are illegal .So...I don't really see them being enforced. The only time when we really obey them is when the enforcer is Gerald Lee or when there's a spotcheck.Besides that ,we rule in this tiny little room .Our class is dirty most of the time, rubbish everywhere.Extremely clean at times.I wonder why.Oh and about all those sports up there,it is not motivated by the recent Olympics. It has always been this way.We play them not because we respect Zeus.We just do it because we can and "just for the fun of it".Feeling weird how we got bows and arrows? We just made them.Really creative and innovative. We even made a club and a _____ beater. And thanks to our previous fiziks teacher, who told us about a rocket eksperimen and never did it in a lesson. So we just did it ourselves with just a pump, bottle and the assistance of water.I guess that's it and we made it that 'high'.
