Accepting responsibilities as a part of life

Responsibility is something everybody has. Responsibility have weight and their weight varies on different people. Sometimes different circumstances lead us to judge that we have a lot of responsibilities.. OR .. that responsibility is too big for me to handle. Then it becomes a burden. Of course we manage that in many different ways... sadly these are the most common. We do not take it seriously.

At times, we totally shift it to another person. We say we delegate tasks.
At times, we try to run away by belittling your responsibility. For example, with "with or without me things will turn out fine".
At times we just try to do the minimum to get things done.

I think there are two ways of looking at it.
Responsibilities Versus life
&
Responsibilities And life

Some people think that responsibilities cause their life to be harsh, troubled and not as good as others. Because of this, they try to drop all their responsibilities. They resort to alcohol, mess up public properties and sometimes they do nothing at all. Just eat and sleep. The problem is, responsibilities are part of life. They are not against each other but they are a part of life. If you have no responsibilities, what would you be doing? Seriously ask yourself this question. Of course now that you have responsibilities you would say I wish I had none, so that I can do anything I want. But when you don't have responsibilities, you won't know what you want and what to do. You won't appreciate things. For example, during the holidays. Some people are free. So free. They really don't know what to do. They go to find jobs. They pick up the responsibility themselves.

People need responsibilities, big or small because they are a part of life.

On a lighter note. Got this from my friends blog. It's pretty old but it's still funny.
